Welcome to Revology Performance's Coyote Swap Kit page.
Building a restomod Mustang has many varied definitions. Ask ten enthusiasts and there’s a good chance you’ll get ten different answers. However, the majority of them will agree that the true definition of a restomod is one that provides the owner with all the classic appearance features they remember with modern performance, braking, handling, and more of today’s cars. It is extremely rare to achieve this melding of yesterday and today with simple bolt-on parts. Below you can find our Coyote Swap parts. We also encourage you to scroll past the products below and read further about the history of the Coyote Engine Swap as well as its significance in the classic mustang space.

Revology's Coyote Engine Swap Kit
That is why Revology Cars not only designs and builds its own components, but works closely with its product partners to develop Revology Cars-specific versions of their products. Utilizing these products in the build of a Revology Mustang is what sets our product apart from everyone else’s builds and now you can use these very same products in your own 1965-1968 restomod Mustang project through the Revology Parts division.
One of the most popular engine offerings of the last decade has been Ford’s 5.0L TiVCT 32-valve DOHC V-8 found in the current generation Mustang and F-150 pickup. Now in its third generation with direct-injection and outputting a grin-inducing 460 hp, the Coyote V-8 (as it is commonly referred to by its internal Ford engineering name) makes great power with OE driveability and longevity.
Add a supercharger and you’re easily looking at 600 horsepower. To make that kind of power in a traditional pushrod V-8 takes a lot of custom performance parts where driveability and engine life suffer, so you can see why the 5.0L Coyote has become the de facto standard for restomod builds, bringing the term “Coyote swap” to the forefront of restomod vernacular. That being said, it isn’t the easiest engine swap to accomplish in a 1965-1968 Mustang, but we feel it is certainly worth the effort and expense.
Accomplishing a Coyote swap kit in a 1965-1968 Mustang primarily requires making room for the engine’s wider stance. The 1965-1968 Mustang engine bay is quite small, as it was originally designed for a small-block Ford V-8 as its largest option. To make room for the wider Coyote the original coil springs, shock absorbers, and upper control arms must be eliminated along with the shock tower sheetmetal in the engine bay.
Once eliminated, an upgraded suspension, steering, and braking solution is fitted that allows the Coyote engine to be easily installed in the 1965-1968 Mustang engine bay. Revology Performance offers everything you need to not only accomplish this installation, but many supporting products to enhance your Coyote swap project.
Revology Performance’s product offerings are derived directly from the Revology Cars parts bins. The same products we’ve developed and engineered to build the world’s most advanced 1965-1968 Mustang and Shelby replicas are now available directly to you for your restomod project.
